Monochrome 1.3” OLED Graphic Display Module Datasheet
This OLED display module is only 1.3 inches, bigger than the 0.96” one. Both of them have the same resolution, but this 1.3’’ screen can give you a better viewing area.
Its high contrast makes them easy to read. The resolution is 128×64 pixels, and SH1106 controller IC can turn each pixel on or off.
OLED emits its own light, so there is no need for a backlight. Therefore, it reduces power consumption. Users like this clear screen.
This PMOLED module has an SPI, I2C interface so you can drive it quickly in an Arduino. (with the u8glib library sample code).
The default interface is SPI. However, you can change it to I2C by moving the SPI resistor to the I2C position on the back.
The module can work with voltages between 3.3V and 5V, so connecting it directly to a 3.3V controller board is fine.
But you want to use a 5V MCU (like an Arduino Uno) to control this display module. In that case, you will need a logic-level translator.
